Beneath the Surface

(Dedicated to Palestinians in their moments of grief) This project is an invitation to partake in the collective human journey through grief and all the unknowns it entails. I warmly invite you to step into this world, to feel, to reflect, and most importantly, to connect. In the depths of our existence, there are moments that words cannot contain, where grief and death cast their long shadows upon our hearts. "Beneath the Surface" is my visual odyssey through these unspoken emotions, a personal exploration of the intricate tapestry woven by loss. I have chosen to create a series of black and white images. My intention is for the viewer to traverse the delicate line between light and darkness, between life and death—a line we all tread in our own unique ways. Some photographs are a symbolic representation of the feelings present while you go through the complicated process of grief and other are the photographs of keepsakes. These photographs represent not only my humble attempt to capture the essence of universal loss but also a reflection of my personal journey through grief, with all the experiences and chaos that accompanied it. Each image crafted carefully to serve as an open door for you to step in the deepest recesses of your own soul.

A portrayal of a ceaseless battle to find lucidity among light and shadow.

RESILLIENCE 

Every step navigating the boundless journey of life is a testament to an individual's resilience.

Depicting a lack of nourishment of the soul and seeking respite in shrouding painful memories.
